Join Jeanette and Scott Fultz for an afternoon of relaxing & playful experiences, geared towards deepening your connection to your partner. Unplug from the stress of your daily activities and nourish each other in both simple and profound ways, finding greater ease and balance in your relationship off the mat.

We will explore:

  • Couples Yoga
  • Couples Breathing & Meditation

  • Couples Active Listening and Sharing

Breathwork is an active meditation that moves stuck energy (fear, anger, anxiety, grief and negative thought patterns) in the body, using a circular two-part breathing technique. As a person breathes their mind begins to quiet, endorphins are released and the heart begins to open.

Breathwork helps you release what is not serving you in your life, leaving you feeling lighter and more grounded. It calms the nervous system, allows you to let go and connect to self, and reduces tension and anxiety.

This workshop will include Breathwork, a curated playlist of music, essential oils and time for integration (a silent meditation). In this powerful session you will breathe, laugh, yell and maybe even cry; it's like nothing you've ever experienced before.

No prior experience with Breathwork or meditation is necessary.

Yoga mats required. Wear comfortable clothes and bring a water bottle. Bolsters and blankets are available at the studio, or you may bring your own.

This New Moon Meditation is specifically scheduled to coincide with the new lunar cycle, the most auspicious time for fresh starts and new beginnings. Join Nini to learn how to consciously create changes in yourself and the world. Help bring peace to our planet, abundance to your community and more love and light into your life. We will cover simple strategies, breathing techniques and specific Bach Flower remedies to alleviate children's:

  • anxiety and overwhelm
  • common fears
  • tension and excess worry
  • nervous habits

Parents, alongside their children, will come away with simple techniques and remedies for supporting anxiety-relief naturally.

Facilitated by Nini Gridley, MS Ed, BFRP. Nini was a Child Life Specialist on Pediatrics for 10 years and has seen the widest variety of anxiety in children whether at home in school or in medical settings. Her academic degrees in Child Development lay the ground for offering the Bach Flower Remedies to children and adults to balance fluctuating emotions. As a Kripalu Yoga teacher Nini offers awareness through movement and breath that soothe and comfort the physical body as well.

Mindful Self-Compassion

Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) is an empirically-supported, 8-week training program designed to cultivate the skills of self-compassion. Based on the groundbreaking research of Kristin Neff and the clinical expertise of Christopher Germer, MSC teaches us how to develop the warm-hearted, connected presence we need during moments of difficulty. Self-compassion provides emotional strength and resilience so that we can offer ourselves the same kindness and understanding we would offer a good friend.

Self-compassion can allow us to motivate ourselves with encouragement, forgive ourselves when needed, face and befriend our shortcomings, care for others while caring for self, and live more authentically. Research shows that self-compassion is strongly associated with emotional well-being, lower levels of anxiety and depression, healthy relationship to food and body, and more satisfying personal relationships.

Parenting Inward

In this series, we explore mindfulness, self-compassion, and restorative yoga as ways to help us ground and gain clarity in our role as parents. Parenting Inward is about how we show up for ourselves and our children to create wholeness and connection within our own families.

We will use techniques, practices, and postures to reconnect to our inner strength, helping to build strong connections to our kids. By caring for ourselves as we would a dear friend, we strengthen our families with warmth, compassion and kindness. We show our children that caring for ourselves is a safe and loving boundary. All practices learned are easily applicable to every day life, so you can build them into your day, learning to care deeply for yourself.
